Absolute Beachfront Opal Cove Resort - Korora

I was really disappointed with the air conditioning in our room. It was freezing cold and I couldn't adjust the temperature. I nearly froze at night, piled under blankets and wearing socks, while it was a sweltering 31 degreesC outside!

The breakfast was sensational with toast and a healthier more varied meal, as for instance, and the facilities were very nice. Overall the service was very good. The pool was well maintained. The location was top and quiet, next to the private beach, the next bay, and The Big Banana and Coffs Harbour CBD.

I found great value for my money, and the room was super comfortable. The location was perfect, and the staff were great, especially with the late check-in-you really felt welcomed!

Breakfast option could include more fresh fruit varieties.

had a quite comfortable stay for a night for a football trip. local cuisine was served in the in-house restaurant.

The staff are friendly, expert and made the difference. In particular the lady and gentleman on the front desk on the afternoon 4 Dec 10 are extrodinary.

Some aspects of the rooms are in need of refurbishment. There is some sort of devise right above the lift on our floor that periodically fires deodorizer. The first time is hits you is a shock.

we had a fantastic stay at opal cove. the kids loved the pool area, and we enjoyed evening swims without the crowds. dining at the restaurant every night was good, with delicious food and friendly service. we appreciated the pool towels provided at reception and the convenience of being able to keep an eye on the kids while dining. overall, it was a nice family experience that we look forward to repeating.

The staffs friendly attitude and the location of Opal Cove was ideal for us to attend a family wedding in the area. We definatly give Opal Cove and the staff the thumbs up.

We only had the one night but wished we could have had more but due to time and personal issues at the time we did not get the full pleasure of this lovely resort, Would very much like to return for longer, A nice place for families

The beds were incredibly comfortable and the location was stunning, close to shops and a lovely beach, with very clean facilities, available lifts, and a good onsite restaurant.

The staff were excellent and nice and very good. Room was very clean and nice. Pool was allways cleaned. The bar was fantastice i loved happy hour that was fantastic.

It rained alot during my stay and i thought the tiles outside the bar area was to slippery.

Great value for money, stunning location. The hotel is fairly clean with pool and absolutely amazing and wonderful staff. The in-house restaurant for dinner. Speedy check-in, generally POLITE service. Free Wi-Fi provided.

This place offers excellent value, a hot breakfast, and is set in a stunning location.

Great location and helpful staff

The main problem which would prevent a return visit is that it did not have a full service restaurant.It relied on a "brasserie " type menu which did not change ;even the daily special was the same on the 3 nights we stayed.Food is good but little choice when staying several nights

The resort is quite nice, nice views.

Front desk staff were far too busy to engage with guests, and it was obvious they needed to attend people in a hurry. I didn't get the feeling of being genuinely welcomed.
